Seaview Academy is a free, online education program located in the Port Angeles School District. Seaview utilizes Port Angeles teachers who are Washington State certified to provide online instruction to students in grades Kindergarten – 12th. Seaview Academy provides a variety of core and elective classes in a non-traditional manner through an online learning platform. Seaview Academy’s online program curriculum is provided by OdysseyWare, an Arizona based company that has a long history of developing online curriculum. All curriculum is designed to meet the Washington State standards as defined by OSPI.

CTE & Online School Director
Cindy Crumb has worked as an Assistant Principal for Roosevelt Middle School (now Roosevelt Elementary), a Principal for Lincoln High School, and is currently working as a full time Director for both the CTE Program at Port Angeles High School and the new online school, Seaview Academy.
Coco has taught secondary education for the Port Angeles School District for more than 12 years. She specializes in science education and enjoys sharing exciting science experiments with her students. When not teaching Coco loves to spend time with her family exploring the outdoors
From the highly capable to those needing specialized academic assistance or guidance, Seaview Academy serves students at various academic levels in order for all students to achieve success. Seaview Academy offers options to benefit students who, for a variety of reasons, may not thrive in traditional school.
Student-Teacher Contact Requirements
Seaview Academy teachers work with students and parents to ensure student achievement of learning goals. Each week students are required to meet with their teacher. Seaview students participate in state assessments and are required to meet all Washington State requirements prior to graduating and receiving a high school diploma.
Seaview teachers interact with their students in a variety of synchronous and asynchronous ways. These interactions can be one-on-one conversations using a variety of technologies as a part of weekly check-ins and monthly progress reviews. Teachers are flexible with the meeting times and locations.
